Dr Anne Barnett, Board Chair

Dr Anne Barnett has more than ten years experience as a science commercialisation professional, having supported the launch of a number deep-tech start-ups from New Zealand Universities. Anne has worked across the start-up landscape including team formation, capital raising and technology licensing.

Currently the CEO of Wellington UniVentures, the commercialisation office of Victoria University of Wellington, Anne brings an extensive understanding of the IP protection process and international expansion for technology start-ups.

Dr Barnett is a sought after governance advisor and is currently an active board member for three other technology start-ups, spanning analytical instrumentation, pharmaceuticals and natural health products.
